The 'Time to Pet' app is a simple easy to use client portal bringing you the pet parents a world of peace. How? Time to Pet enables you to stay in contact with your Pet Sitters through a unique software app. Our App features Pet sitter GPS check-in times and check-out times, plus the ability to connect directly with us. We are more than happy to send you pictures and updates.
The CLIENT PORTAL WE HAVE IS FOR EXISTING CLIENTS ONLY. You will need to download the app on your smart phone or tablet so we can set you up before your service begins. Any special instructions and information regarding your pet will be loaded into the portal prior to service.

Best Home Pets is a great alternative to doggy daycare or boarding kennels with dog walkers and In-Home Pet Sitters.
Here are a couple things to consider if boarding at a kennel is not for you or your dog and what makes us different:
While some dogs and cats cope well with doggie day care or dog and cat boarding facilities, others do not. Sometimes pets are even turned away because they fail to pass a compatibility test. High anxiety dogs do better in their own home environment while dogs seem to fit in anywhere.
We believe that when you’re away, you should have total peace of mind about your pets’ care. That’s why we offer premier pet sitting services that allow your dog or cat to stay home in their familiar surroundings, benefit from loving one-on-one attention, and maintain their normal routines.
We are insured, bonded, informed, experienced – and most of all, passionate about pets. While you’re away, your pet is our top priority. We even send you videos or photos of our visits and playtime to make you feel totally at ease!
Dog Sitting and walking
We offer several options that are custom designed for your family pet. Upon arrival, Your Canine(s) will be greeted with a happy loving Pet-Sitter who is experienced with dogs and absolutely loves and adores animals.
PRICING
- Each Visit is $30 for 30 Minutes
- 3 visits a day with one half-hour walk or fenced yard play time $90
- 4 visits a day with one half-hour walk or fenced yard play time $115 recommended for senior and pups and pet parents who are away for more than a day.
- 10 hour Overnight stay $125. Example: Pet-Sitter arrives at 9 pm and departs at 7 am. Morning potty break is included with exercise, play time, fresh food and water before your Pet-sitter leaves.
Later morning/noon visit with a
15 minute potty break and another late
afternoon/early eve 15 minute potty break.
This completes an overnite care package.
- Multiple dogs, add $5 for each additional canine per visit any added service.
- This package may seem pricy but keep in mind someone is taking the time to be with your pets ensure they are cared for and their needs are comforts are met.
Busy weekdays? Long work hours? We got this.....
- Mid-day Dog potty break 20 min $20. Include a quick walk or add some playtime for 30 minutes total $30.
Additional dog add $5 to the visit.
- Over the Holidays, add $5 per visit, this will cover your Pet-sitter's Holiday surcharge fee and that extra is their bonus.
Other services we do while you are away and while we pet sit: Collect mail, bring in delivery boxes, quick house well-ness walk thru, flush toilets, trash cans set out or brought back up, indoor watering plants (7 maximum), lights turned off or on, blinds or shades adjusted, etc.
- Holiday surcharge fees will be applied at $5 per visit, this additional fee goes straight to your Pet-sitter for making time in their busy schedule over the Holidays. We feel it is only fair.
- Holidays with additional surcharges: New Years Eve and New Years day, Easter, Memorial day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. These are the only days additional rates will apply.
- Any tips go straight to your Best Pet-Sitter and we will ensure they receive it if it is included with your payment.
- Please book well in advance. (2-3 weeks) Make sure you have set up your Meet & Greet and have all proper forms and admissions taken care of well in advance.
- All services are paid in prior of services rendered to cover our pet-sitter payroll and expenses and also ensure your PetCare Services & Reservations are locked in. Bookings can be made in advance and do require a nonrefundable deposit of half the amount 1-2 weeks prior and full payment the day before service starts.
Policies: Review all service policies at your meet and greet *including Holiday Surcharge rates, Late Cancellation, Insufficient Funds, Pet ID Tag, and Home Maintenance, set up Time to Pet portal, gather information on feed schedule, veterinarian etc.

Cat Sitting- love, cuddles, nourishment and playtime
- Cats are so individual. Some cats just crave attention and playtime, while others would rather not be bothered. We get that. Please Tell us all about your feline, we would love to get to know them better. Schedule a meet and greet and introduce us.
- Typically cat visits are once per day and this includes, fresh water, food and litter boxes refreshed. Included we provide Other services while you are away: pick up mail, bring in delivery boxes at front door, house well-ness walk thru, trash cans set out or brought back up, watering plants, lights etc. These are household tasks are at no additional expense to you and part of the care plan while you are away.
PRICING
- 1 visit per day is recommended $30. Additional visits are $30.
- Additional cat, $5 per visit.
- Over the Holidays additional surcharge fees are applied. $5 per visit, this added surcharge fee goes straight to your Pet-sitter for making time in their busy schedule and Holiday. We feel it is only fair.
- All and any tips will also go straight to your Pet-sitters
